Dear Valued Patients.

Given the unprecedented situation we are currently facing regarding the COVID-19 virus, we felt it was important to reassure you that we are continuing to keep our practice clean and safe for both you and our team.

You will appreciate that as a dental practice we work in an environment where the prevention of the spread of a whole range of infections is woven into everything that we do. Nevertheless, we are paying particular attention to the latest government guidance on the transmission of coronavirus.

Please remember to call us on 08 7123 0830 or email us on to let us know if you wish to reschedule any of your booked appointments. We would be happy to schedule an alternative date for you.

There is hand sanitiser at the front desk for you to use on entering and leaving the building. Forgive us if we wipe down the door handle and waiting room after you leave, it’s not personal!

A couple of additional measures we have implemented are checking your temperature on arrival via an infrared thermometer, and going through a few screening questions prior to your appointment. Once in the surgery patients above the age of 6 will be given an antimicrobial mouth rinse to use prior to the consultation.

If you’d prefer to wait for your appointment in your car please call us or check in with reception when you arrive and we’ll give you a phone call once we are ready for you to enter.

You’ll notice that we’ve removed some non-essential items in the reception area including the magazines, toys and water. They will return once this is all over! As a team, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue to provide our usual high standard of dental care for you. Thank you for your support in keeping everyone safe.

With best wishes,

Northgate Dental Care
